Jenifer Vija, founder of Ajvia Bioanalytical Consulting, has over 20 years of experience in large and small molecule bioanalysis, biomarker, and immunogenicity assay development and validation. After earning a PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of Washington, she contributed to setting up an HPLC and LC-MS lab at a small biotech.

In 2004, Jenifer joined Midwest BioResearch (MBR), a startup CRO, where she played a pivotal role in advancing projects, implementing GxP processes, and managing staff. When MBR was acquired by WIL Research in 2009, her lab became the sole provider of large molecule bioanalytical services, contributing to business growth.

Following WIL Research's acquisition by Charles River in 2016, Jenifer shifted to a scientific role, offering strategic input for large molecule bioanalysis at the Illinois site and CRL globally. In 2020, she resumed operational leadership as Scientific Director of the Immunoassay department, overseeing 50 research scientists and technicians.

Jenifer's expertise spans a diverse range of compounds, non-clinical and clinical validations, and sample analysis from discovery through Phase 3. Her direct regulatory experience includes FDA inspections, directed FDA inspections (on-site and remote), and responses to Health Agency questions on drug applications, review meetings, and post-marketing commitments.
